Assign catalogues to a group
You can assign one or more catalogues to a group so that members of the group can enroll onto courses. Users can view the catalogues available to them by clicking Catalogue in the navigation bar.
To view the catalogue assignments for a group, click Catalogue on the contents menu to display the “Catalogue Assignments” page. The page shows a list of all the catalogues that are assigned to the group.
To add a new catalogue, click Edit to show the list of available catalogues. The page shows all catalogues defined in the Learning Management System, with a check box to show the current catalogue assignments (which appear at the top of the list).
To assign a catalogue to the group, tick the check box next to the catalogue title. To remove a catalogue, clear the check box. Click Submit to save the new catalogue assignments, or Return to return to the current catalogue assignments.
When a user signs in and clicks Catalogue on the navigation bar, the catalogues will appear in their course catalogue list. The list shows all the catalogues that the user is individually assigned to and all those that are assigned through groups. A catalogue appears only once in the list, even if the user is assigned multiple times.
