Accreditations
Accreditations are created to represent any accreditation programmes that are available to users. Users are then assigned accreditations to work toward. Users’ progress toward the accreditation and their progress is reviewed and monitored. Reports can then be run to see which users have attained accreditations or where users are in the accreditation process. Once an accreditation has expired, emails can be sent to notify users.
There are two types of accreditation—manual and automatic. Manual accreditations may contain accreditation elements, and only when a user has achieved all the elements are they awarded the accreditation. There is a manual review process to award the accreditation.
Automatic accreditations contain no accreditation elements. Instead, you assign the accreditation to a lesson. The user is awarded the accreditation when they successfully complete the lesson (they get a status of “Complete”, “Passed” or “Attended”). When the accreditation expires, the score and status for the lesson are cleared so that the user can retake the lesson and renew the accreditation.
