Using the Catalogue templates

A faster way to create pages is provided with the Catalog templates.  Several templates are provided as standard with Kallidus® 6 Author.

With regard to the section on creating Questions within your lesson, Kallidus Author comes pre-packaged with many variations of different question types.  Within the Lesson, and ensuring you are in Author Mode, click on the ‘Catalog’ lesson menu option.

The Catalog will open in a separate window, displaying a menu of the different options available:

There are several different types of catalogue items that are available as shown on the menu above.

Click on the item you require, and cycle through until you find exactly the type of item you want to insert into your lesson page.

Click the ‘Import’ button to import the item into your lesson page.

Once the Catalog menu item has been imported into your lesson page, you should edit the properties of each object to reflect how you want them to behave for your page.  Edit the objects exactly as you would for an object you have created yourself from the Author Mode toolbox.
