Adding Movies

To add a movie, click on the ‘Movie’ option from the Author Mode toolbox.  Click on to the page where you want the movie to appear.  A Movie Library dialogue box will appear, prompting you to either select a movie from the Library, or Import a file from another location on your hard drive or Network location.

Note:   Movie types allowed are Shockwave Flash (*.SWF),  RealMedia (*.RM), WindowsMedia(*.wmp)  and Impatica (*.IMP) types

Click on the movie in the Library window to select it, and click ‘OK’ to bring the selected movie on to your page.

If the movie you require is not already in the Library window, you will need to import it.  In this instance, click on the ‘Import file’ button in the Movie Library dialogue box.  Locate the movie you require and click ‘Open’.

The image will then be imported into the Image Library.  Select the movie and click ‘OK’ to bring the selected movie on to your page.

The movie object may not appear exactly as you would like it to on the page.  Just as with a text and image object, you can set certain Movie Options, explained below.
