Adding Buttons And Actions
Adding buttons to pages adds interactivity to your lesson, allowing the student to become involved in the lesson. Without them, they would simply be viewing a presentation of information on the page, creating a rather stale lesson.
Buttons can be traditional-style buttons (appearing as a raised area on the page, usually with a caption:
Buttons may also be created as images, or as transparent hotspots on the page.
To add a button, click on the ‘Button’ option from the Author Mode toolbox. Click on to the page where you want the button to appear. A default button will appear on the page ready for you to edit. Right-click on the button object to display a menu of the options available for buttons.
