e2train announces that it has been named as a winner in the 2007 Deloitte Technology Fast 50.

e2train, the UK’s leading provider of learning and performance technologies, today announced that it has been named as a winner in the 2007 Deloitte Technology Fast 50, a ranking of the fastest growing technology companies in the UK.

This year’s Fast 50 presents a dynamic snapshot of the UK’s technology industry.  The list is compiled from Deloitte’s nominations submitted directly to the Fast 50, and public company database research.   Rankings are based on average percentage revenue growth over five years.  e2train grew 1547% in this period.

e2train’s Managing Director, Rob Caul, commented ‘We’re delighted with this recognition of our achievements.  This is the culmination of the efforts of everyone at e2train who work hard to extend the benefits of our learning technologies to our customers, develop first class software tools and provide our users with a timely and responsive support service.   We also have a fantastic customer base who are extremely knowledgeable and supply us with useful feedback and advice.  This enables us to constantly improve our products and services.’

‘Growing the top line enough to make the Fast 50 is especially meaningful during competitive times for the technology sector’ said Simon Kerton-Johnson, Chairman of the Deloitte Technology Fast 50.  ‘We congratulate e2train on becoming one of the  fastest growing technology companies in the UK and the second fastest in the South West.’

To qualify for the Fast 50, companies must have met stringent criteria: to have been in business for a minimum of 5 years, be UK-owned, have operating revenues of at least £34,000, must own proprietary technology or proprietary intellectual property that contributes to a significant portion of the company’s operating revenues; or devote a significant proportion of revenues to the research and development of technology.

e2train has already launched two new software tools in the past 12 months, including the new rapid e-learning authoring tool, Kallidus Compose.  In addition, as the UK customer base continues to increase, e2train is expanding further into European markets, heralding further growth into 2008 and beyond.
