e2train announces the launch of Kallidus Compose, the new rapid e-learning creation tool.

e2train, the UK’s leading provider of learning and performance technology, announces the launch of Kallidus Compose. This new rapid e-learning creation tool will form a key component of the Kallidus Learning Suite and enable collaborative, online authoring without the need for programming skills.

Kallidus Compose is designed to rapidly create e-learning lessons and assessments with no requirements for previous programming experience, external plug-ins or additional software.  It is an intuitive, server-based tool with a simple point-and-click interface that enables authors to begin creating effective e-learning immediately, straight from a web browser, in any location.

The architecture of Kallidus Compose enables multiple authors to collaborate, revise and edit content with built-in workflow management.  It also allows existing training materials to be reused; documents from Microsoft PowerPoint or Word can be easily imported.  And because it is AICC and SCORM compliant, lessons can be managed and tracked within a Learning Management System.

Organisational benefits of Kallidus Compose include:

  • Rapid creation of compelling and effective e-learning lessons and assessments without the need for programming skills
  • Courses can be created collaboratively across multiple users e.g. subject matter experts, content managers, training administrators
  • e-learning courses can be edited and updated from any web browser in any location
  • Organisational cost-savings result from quicker delivery time of courses
  • Content management capabilities ensures accurate, timely management of course production

Rob Caul, Managing Director of e2train comments ‘We are delighted to announce the launch of Kallidus Compose as a new addition to our Kallidus Learning Suite.  It is an exciting tool which includes more functionality than just rapid e-learning creation.  Users will also have the ability to work on their e-learning collaboratively and to manage this process effectively, which can prove challenging.  With continuing pressure on organisations’ training budgets and deadlines, Kallidus Compose provides a comprehensive solution that creates engaging e-learning quickly and cost-effectively.’
