Wednesday 17th August 2005
e2train and Thomson NETg are sponsoring a series of free one-day e-learning workshops during October 2005. Located in Manchester (4th October), Birmingham (11th October) and London (18th October) they are designed to help learning professionals implement their own enterprise-wide e-learning solutions.
The workshops are aimed at senior IT, HR and training professionals who wish to further their use of e-learning or would like to understand what current market leaders in this sector are providing.
The event will kick off with "e-learning in Action" with a learning professional from a leading organisation explaining how they have embraced and created their own e-learning solutions.
Breakout sessions will then explore content and technology. Delegates will then be able to choose from a number of workshops over three different sessions to look in-depth at the subjects that interest them. A hands-on approach will be encouraged so that delegates can learn for themselves how easy it is to utilise technology for learning purposes. The workshops deal with the following areas:
- Reviewing the latest and best 'off-the-shelf' generic e-learning courseware.
- Discovering how to easily and rapidly author in-house AICC compliant learning content.
- Managing blended learning programmes via a learning management system.
- Using technology to link performance and development to training.
Spaces are restricted to 50 per venue with lunch, and free workshop places will only be open to applicants who meet the selection criteria. Those wishing to see an in-depth breakdown of the event and register their intention to attend as a delegate should go to the e2train website www.e2train.com/workshops (link opens a new window).
