e2train has produced a FREE white paper on the business benefits of implementing a Learning Management System (LMS) which can be downloaded for free from its website. The white paper was inspired by work recently undertaken in partnership with clients, who have actively analysed the ROI on their Learning Management Systems.
Martin Belton, Sales and Marketing Director, e2train said “much has been written about the benefits of e-learning and how it can provide organisations with genuine Return on Investment (ROI), however less is said about the investment benefits that result from implementing a Learning Management System.”
The paper considers how an LMS provides real business benefits in a broader sense of the business. Inevitably that means understanding the ROI that occurs from e-learning projects and the management of their results using an LMS. It also considers how an LMS can help a business to improve its performance by managing resources more effectively, such as managing and meeting essential regulatory requirements as well as making employees and managers accountable for completing training.
“Although many businesses see an LMS as a function for managing e-learning only, in reality it can also be used to manage all aspects of traditional face to face training such as class-rooms and videos. The white paper shows how the LMS comes into its own as a tool for recording and measuring costs, achievements and progress of training.” Belton added.
The white paper features real life case studies, and analysis of ROI calculations derived from live LMS implementations, and is aimed at helping training professionals understand all the advantages of a fully featured, cost effective LMS.
