Following on from e2train’s recent success in being chosen to supply their Kallidus LMS and Authoring solution to the Leeds and Holbeck Building Society, a further three top UK building societies: The Newcastle, Portman and Yorkshire have chosen the Kallidus Learning Management System to help deploy and track their e-Learning and other training activities. In addition, the Newcastle and Portman Building Societies have chosen e2train’s Kallidus Authoring System to allow them to produce e-learning content in-house.

The Yorkshire Building Society employs around 2100 employees across its Head Office and 131 branches. The Yorkshire is using Kallidus to enable colleagues to have much greater control of their personal learning plans. The Newcastle Building Society employs 770 people across 52 branches of which two are based in Gibraltar. The Society is constantly looking to take advantage of new technologies in order to provide innovative products and services to their members, and this philosophy is extended to staff training. Having considered other systems and spoken with other societies using the Kallidus LMS and Authoring solution, the decision to work with e2train was based on value for money, support and the overall functionality provided by Kallidus.

A number of staff also work in Wolverhampton at the Administration Centre for Portman's regional brand, The Staffordshire.
