Sally-Ann Moore, Managing Director, iLearn Forum Ltd (International e-learning Consultant and e-learning events Director). Sally-Ann has a long career in consulting and international business development and today specializes in e-learning, Competence Management and Performance Management.
In 2004 she launched the first ever international Exhibition and Conference dedicated to e-learning in the Middle East, with MELT Dubai in April 2005. She is currently managing iLearning Forum Paris – the world’s leading francophone exhibition and seminar series on e-learning She is also in partnership with Chain Events of Dubai for managing Middle East learning Technologies (MELT) in Bahrain in April 2006 and Dubai in April 2007. She also consults to te ITE group PLC for eLearnExpo Moscow, the leading Russian e-learning event.
Sally-Ann launches new e-learning events in new markets (currently China and Africa) and also designs in-house custom conferences, sales meetings, workshops and management training events for her clients. These include the IEC, France Telecom, World ORT, FSI UK, and the European Community ICT research Programme.

In 2000 Sally-Ann founded the ElearnExpo series of conferences. These took place in Paris, Amsterdam, Hong Kong, Vienna and Moscow. The next eLearnExpo that she is managing is eLearnExpo Moscow in May 2007

Sally-Ann was responsible for the development of Global's Education Integration projects and consulting business in strategic accounts worldwide. Within this role she also headed up the Distance learning, Competence Management and Education Consulting practices, service product innovation and marketing communications. She worked for Global since 1995, and during that time has been Acting Managing Director for the UK subsidiary and VP for European Projects and Consulting Business.
Digital Equipment, Director, Learning Services Europe
Prior to joining Global Knowledge Network in December 1995, Sally-Ann worked for 9 years in Dgital Equipment as a European Practice Director in management consulting and European portfolio manager for financial management reporting systems. Between 1992 and 1995 she has was Digital Learning Services Worldwide practice director for development and delivery of Leading-edge management consulting offerings focusing on Workforce effectiveness, organizational learning, psychometric testing and competence management. She also acted as the manager for Digital Learning Services in Europe during the transition to Global. This role covered the full responsibility for sales and marketing, finance and operations.
Battelle Research Institute, Techno-economic Research Programme Leader
Sally-Ann’s consulting career started with 6 years at the prestigious Battelle Research Institute where, she led and managed techno-economic research and consulting programs. (Work experiences with Battelle included: Regional Industrialization plan for North African country; creative value analysis studies for Aérospatiale, American Express and DSM; in-depth study of economic and marketing mechanisms of fur trade, competitive marketing strategy for leading French textile company; New business strategy development for leading French couturier (YSL). Over 40 assignments completed in Europe, Africa, Japan and North America.
Sally-Ann is a BSC Honors Graduate from University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology, and an Associate of the Textile Institute. She studied Finance at INSEAD and has published several articles and papers, lately on the subject of activity-based competence management and performance management. Sally-Ann speaks fluent French, and some Spanish. Her hobbies include show jumping, off-piste skiing, golf, playing backgammon, reading and sailing.
