
e2train, the UK’s leading provider of learning and performance technologies last week lifted the lid on learning technologies at its annual user conference, Uncovered 2008. Sponsored by SkillSoft and essential.genius, the event brought together industry thought leaders, learning experts and training professionals from a range of sectors and industries on 15 – 17 October.


As part of the agenda, e2train maintained its ability to attract leading keynote speakers. Donald H Taylor is Chairman of the Learning Technologies conference and the Learning and Skills Group. His 18 years of experience in the learning industry lead to him last year receiving the Colin Corder Award for his contribution to IT Training. His keynote presentation examined ‘where learning is heading’ in ‘The performance challenge: Organisational learning at the crossroads’. He comments ‘I was delighted to be part of Uncovered 2008. Learning technologies such as e2train’s are vital to help organisations thrive in today's global economy.”
Royston Guest is CEO of Pti Worldwide, who specialise in growing businesses and unlocking people potential with a range of coaching, consulting and training. Royston is a veteran of the conference speaking arena who has published two books including ‘Training ReDefined’. Royston’s keynote session will explore ‘Why most training doesn’t work…and more importantly, what to do about it!’ Royston comments ‘It's been fantastic to have the opportunity to speak at Uncovered 2008, it was a great chance for fellow professionals to take time out from their businesses and explore some of the latest leading edge thinking driving the Learning and Development market.’
